Day Seven in Alexandria!

Today we remained in Egypt! We got off the boat and got a tazi to take us to all the places that the tour buses would go. MUCH cheaper and our guide even took us to a place to get some authentic Egyptian food. It was good but nothing like the greek food we have been eating. It was some sort of holiday today and people were everywhere. The beaches were packed and people were out to have a good time, We went to a beach side port and the people were swimming, dancing, fishing and admiring the American girls ( our girls)!
After seeing the fort, we then went to see the Library of Alexandria. This is a world famous library known for it's size! It was huge! There were multiple levels and tons of book. We walked around for a while looking for different books etc.
We made stops at the American embassy and a museum full of egyptian artifacts! We finished by going to the King's Palace, where the current king resides when in town. Because of the holiday people were all over the palace grounds having picnics and parties. There were alot of people that were amazed by the Americans and they would follow us around and take our pictures as much as we were taking theirs!
Another great day! I can't believe I am in Egypt!
